Health & Safety
We encourage all attendees to consult with their health care providers and consider the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recommendations included in this helpful PDF, about what precautions they will personally take for attending a high-volume event.
We do not require masks or proof of vaccination for our classes. We have implemented additional precautions in addition to the precautions already in place at the Irving Convention Center (ICC).
DFW Fiber Fest has acquired room filters designed to assure the turnover of air in the classrooms aligns with the most current recommendations from the CDC.
We understand the importance of maintaining a healthy and well-ventilated space, especially given the ongoing concerns surrounding public health. By implementing this filtration program, we are taking proactive measures to enhance the air quality and minimize any potential risks associated with indoor gatherings.
We would also like to remind you to follow the general health guidelines provided by the CDC, such as practicing good hand hygiene, maintaining social distancing when possible, and staying home if you feel unwell or display any symptoms of illness. Your cooperation in adhering to these guidelines is crucial to ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.
At DFW Fiber Fest, we remain committed to creating a welcoming and secure environment where you can fully immerse yourself in the wonderful world of fiber arts. We hope that the combination of our precautionary measures and your responsible participation will contribute to a successful and memorable event.
