Waitlist Holding Program

Some students only want to take one specific class, but that class is currently full. Because our registration system requires enrollment in at least one class before joining additional waitlists, we’ve created a simple option for students who only want to join a waitlist at this time.
The Waitlist Holding Program allows you to reserve your place on a class waitlist with a $10 holding fee.

If you get into the class, your $10 fee will be applied toward your class fee.
If a seat does not become available, you will receive a complimentary one-day Market pass to DFW Fiber Fest (a $10 value) as our thanks for your patience and enthusiasm.

This Is For Students:

• Interested in a class that is currently full.
• That do not want to purchase additional classes right now.
• Still want to secure a place on the waitlist.

This program allows you to hold your waitlist position with a small $10.00 holding fee, even if you have no other classes to add at this time.

Please note:
This program does not apply if you are already registered for at least one class. Students with an existing class registration may join additional class waitlists through the normal registration process.

How The Fee Works

Important Details

We understand that not everyone will feel comfortable paying a fee to hold a waitlist position, and we fully respect that decision.

This option exists because our registration process moved to a new system, and under our current platform contract this is the only available solution for this specific scenario. We created this option to support students in this unique situation.

We appreciate your understanding, patience, and trust as we navigate this transition. If this option is right for you, we will enroll you in the program and send an invoice. Once paid, your desired waitlist seat will be secured in your name and follow our standard waitlist policies and procedures.

How To Sign Up

If you choose to enroll in the Waitlist Holding Program, please email classes@dfwfiberfest.org:

1. Your full name
2. Your phone number
3. Email to use for registration (an address you check frequently)
4. Zip Code
5. Class name
6. Day and time of class (for example: Thurs AM or Fri Eve)

When you send us your information

We will register you in our system and it will email confirmation of being added to the waitlist. You will need to follow the directions included in the Registration Confirmation email to pay the fee.
Once paid, your desired waitlist seat will be secured in your name and follow our standard waitlist policies and procedures.

What Happens Next

If a seat becomes available in your selected class, you will:

• Receive an email stating the seat is available. You will have 24 hours to add the class to your registration to get the seat.
  Modifying Instructions can be found by clicking here.
• Remove the Waitlist Holding Program item from your order
• Add the newly available class to your cart
• Complete checkout for the full class fee
• Your $10 holding fee will automatically be refunded to the card on file.

If a seat does not become available, proceed to student check in and mention waitlist program.

Simply show your photo ID and we will provide you with your complimentary one-day Market pass.
