To Our DFW Fiber Fest Family

As we are all aware, the pandemic has created numerous challenges in our lives.  So, since we don't have a crystal ball that would let us know that things will be more normal next year, the DFW Fiber Fest Board of Directors has had to make the difficult decision to cancel our 2021 event.  Our priority is the health and safety of our attendees, students, vendors, and teachers, and with the uncertainty that still exists today we cannot see a way to sign those contracts again just yet without putting our entire event's future at risk.

We do have 2022 in our sights now and will keep planning hopefully towards us being able to meet once again in person.

In the meantime, we are watching the other Fiber Events out there to see what they are doing in the Virtual World to support not only the Vendors and Teachers, but also the students and attendees.  We are trying to figure out whether there is anything similar that we can do with the resources that we have - or whether it would be best to support those other events at this time.

One thing we can look forward to is going to take place around the start of November.  We may not have classes to sign up for, but we will be holding a raffle for some pretty awesome door prizes.  We'll have more information on these closer to that date so keep your eyes open for another newsletter soon.

We do ask that you continue to support our teachers and our vendors who would have been with us in 2020 by following the links that are available on their respective pages (linked above).
